Kuhlman's Four Goal Week Earns NACC Weekly Honors

WAUKESHA, Wis. --- The Concordia University Chicago men's soccer team has won five straight matches, matching a program best. Adding to the excitement, senior Ryan Kuhlman has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) player of the week after scoring four goals over two CUC wins.

"Ryan has put together a new level on both sides of the ball," remarked head coach Michael Arango. " His energy is driving the team and it was great to see him rewarded on senior day with the hat trick."

Kuhlman netted four goals in the two matches last week. The senior from Darien, Ill. opened the week scoring one goal in the non-conference match against Moody Bible. Then on senior day, Kuhlman recorded his second career hat trick, which included the game winning goal in the important 4-0 win over Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Kuhlman's hat trick gave him 17 goals for his career, which moved him into sole possession of the fourth most goals in program history.
