RIVER FOREST, ILL. --- With the Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's basketball season wrapped up, accolades are starting to come in for some notable Cougar athletes. Brent Hatten was chosen to be a part of the College Sports Communicators (CSC) All-District Team for his play and academics as a Cougar athlete.

As a student, all athletes must have a 3.5 or above in order to be nominated for CSC Academic All-District recognition. Hatten will now be moved forward to the CSC Academic All-America ballot for a chance to receive first or second team recognition, which will be announced on April 17th.

Hatten appeared and started in 21 games this season for CUC. He finished top five on the team in three pointers and blocks. He scored a total of 119 points on the season, as well as tacking on 50 rebounds, 16 assists, and 10 steals. As a fifth year graduate student, Hatten is a four-time Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Scholar-Athlete and will be graduating with a master's of business administration.
